Explore the gallery that introduces young children into the world of Curious George, leading visitors on a fun, meaningful interactive math, science and engineering-based adventure.

Based on the familiar characters in H.A. and Margret Rey’s classic stories and inspired by the animated television series on PBS KIDS, visitors can operate wheels to help George climb a building, sort and weigh fruits and vegetables at the produce stand, use science skills to putt a hole of mini golf, visit the rocket from George’s space adventure, and build a whirligig in the country.

What boosts your child's brain power, social connections, creativity, and encourages learning?  Why music, of course!  Let’s jam out, dance, sing, and learn through the power of music with you and your mini ones as we kick off NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child with Mini Music Monday. Mark your calendars for a special performance by the fellows at New World Symphony between 11:00am and 12:00pm.

Join us for a very special Sensory Friendly Saturday Autism Acceptance Celebration. In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we're inviting you to our first ever Sensory Friendly DANCE PARTY! Join us for a silent disco event, where your little one can dance to the beat of their own drum without being overwhelmed by loud music and big crowds. Come dressed to impress and ready to dance the morning away! We will have sensory inclusive activities, projects inspired by artists with Autism whose Neurodiversity has helped them create and accomplish incredible things, and a book giveaway while supplies last. We'll cap it all off with a sensory friendly egg hunt! And as always experience the museum in a sensory modified, supportive setting with limited admission and sound and lighting adjustments. Our goal is to provide your child with the opportunity to engage in social interactions, improve their sensory processing and to optimize their understanding of and participation in natural environments.

Spring is here and it is time to celebrate the sunshine! Dig into our spring-inspired sensory bins, carefully race through our egg and spoon obstacle course and create egg-shaped art in our Art Studio. Participate in our Egg-cellent Egg Hunt and receive a goody bag! Egg Hunts will also contain “beep eggs” to create a more sensory friendly experience.

Celebrate our planet Earth, with fun activities to that will teach your littles about taking care of the environment. Participate in a Recycling Relay to learn which items belong in the trash and which can be recycled. Decorate your own pot and plant a seed that you can watch grow and join our Theater Troupe for their original performance of The Everwoods: A Wondrous Day to Wonder as we ask questions about the magic of nature. Learn about eco-friendly artists in our Art Studio and create recycled art masterpieces inspired by their work.  Then, see why keeping our water clean is important in a hands-on experiment and pledge to be a water-protector!

We all have a part to play in our planet’s health! Join the Miami Children’s Museum at Loews Hotel Miami Beach for “Simama Nami” – our salute to African storytelling. Follow the journey of a rhino, chimp, and dung beetle seeking refuge in a cave. See how they survive by standing tall (despite their tiny size). Resort reservations are required to participate.
